Chapter 55.7. Child Welfare Task Force

Sec. 8. (a) The task force shall submit two (2) reports to the executive director of the legislative services agency, in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6, for review by the interim study committee on child services. (b) A report described in subsection (a) must: (1) be submitted not later than October 15, 2026, and must include: (A) the topics reviewed by the task force; and (B) the task force's findings and recommendations; for the period beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026; and (2) be submitted not later than October 15, 2027, and must include: (A) the topics reviewed by the task force; and (B) the task force's findings and recommendations; for the period beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.
