Chapter 35. Representation of State in Legal Actions

Sec. 2. All criminal actions for violations of this article shall be prosecuted by the prosecuting attorney, or with the assistance of the attorney general or a United States attorney, if requested by the commissioner, in any county: (1) in which the employer has a place of business; (2) in which the alleged violator resides; or (3) if an offense is committed using the Internet or another computer network (as defined in IC 35-43-2-3): (A) from which or to which access to the Internet or another computer network was made; or (B) in which a computer, computer data, computer software, or computer network that was used to access the Internet or another computer network is located.
