Chapter 14. Persons Holding a Customer's Personal Information

Sec. 4. For purposes of this chapter, personal information is "encrypted" if the personal information: (1) has been transformed through the use of an algorithmic process into a form in which there is a low probability of assigning meaning without use of a confidential process or key; or (2) is secured by another method that renders the personal information unreadable or unusable.
