IC 31-9-2.1-228 — "Sibling"

Sec. 228. (a) "Sibling", for purposes of IC 31-19, IC 31-28-5, and IC 31-34 (except for IC 31-34-3-4.5), means a brother or sister by blood, half-blood, or adoption. (b) "Sibling", for purposes of IC 31-34-3-4.5, means: (1) a brother or sister by blood, half-blood, or adoption; and (2) any other individual who would be considered a sibling if parental rights had not been terminated.
