Sec. 1. (a) To properly and efficiently perform its duties, the Indiana board may, subject to the limitations in subsection (c), hire employees under this section. (b) Each member and each employee of the Indiana board shall receive: (1) an annual salary to be fixed in the manner prescribed in IC 4-12-1-13; and (2) the same mileage and travel allowances that other state employees receive.
