Chapter 30. Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant Fund

Sec. 5. (a) In the evaluation of applications for grants from the fund for projects described in section 1(a) of this chapter, the department shall give preference to projects that are anticipated by the department to have the greatest regional economic significance for the region in which the local unit is located. (b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), the department may give preference to projects submitted by local units that have submitted enhanced asset management plans to the department and the local technical assistance program at Purdue University.
