Sec. 150. (a) "Recreational vehicle" means a vehicle with or without motive power equipped exclusively for living quarters for persons traveling upon the highways. The term: (1) does not include: (A) a truck camper; or (B) a mobile structure (as defined in IC 22-12-1-17); and (2) does include a vehicle that: (A) is designed and marketed as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, travel, or seasonal use; (B) is not permanently affixed to real property for use as a permanent dwelling; (C) is built on a single chassis and mounted on wheels; (D) does not exceed four hundred (400) square feet of gross area; and (E) is certified by the manufacturer as complying with the American National Standards Institute A119.5 standard. A vehicle described in this subdivision may commonly be referred to as a "park model RV". (b) "Recreational vehicle", for purposes of IC 9-32-19, includes a motor home, fifth wheel travel trailer, park model trailer, travel trailer, camping trailer, and truck camper.
