Sec. 12.5. (a) Points assessed by the bureau against a person for a violation after December 31, 2015, of a weight limitation in IC 9-20-4, IC 9-20-5, IC 9-20-11, or IC 9-20-7-1 are void. (b) The denial, suspension, or revocation of a driver's license (issued under IC 9-24-3) or a chauffeur's or public passenger chauffeur's license by the bureau that is based on the total or partial accumulation of points described in subsection (a) is void.
