Exports & drafts
Turn Billy’s analysis into work product your clients and colleagues already expect — Word redlines, status packets, and editable AI drafts.
Word and memo exports
- Word redline (.docx) — from the Diff Viewer. Insertions and deletions are real Word tracked-changes marks, with a Bluebook-style citation in the header when jurisdiction data is available.
- Legislative history memo — from the bill Overview. Chronology (including roll-call votes when published), sponsors, version lineage, and rollups assembled into a counsel-ready packet.
- Law as amended (.docx) — the Ramseyer view exported with real tracked-changes marks: the statute as it would read if the bill passed.
- Client status report — from Tracked, as DOCX or PDF. Choose a 7 / 14 / 30-day window; Billy groups tracked bills by position (support / oppose / amend / monitor) with last actions, window activity, and rollups.
- Tracked list (.csv) — from Tracked. The full list with positions, intensity (priority), and tags — opens directly in Excel.
- Outreach letter (.docx) — from the outreach composer: your edited draft as a formal, dated letter. See Stakeholders & outreach.
- Change memo (.docx / .md) — from the Diff Viewer Export menu. Rollup + section summaries for the open version pair; Word is the counsel-ready download, Markdown stays as a lightweight excerpt.
Audience content presets
Billy can draft first-pass prose from data you already have. Every draft opens in an editable review panel — Preview / Edit, Copy, Download Markdown or Word — before you send. Labeled as AI output.
- Client alert — Diff Viewer. Professional advisory tone from change summaries + workspace intent (subject + body).
- Action alert — same toolbar, switch the preset. Lobbying / mobilization tone: urgency, ask, and hearing or deadline context when Billy has it, plus your tracked position if set.
- Newsletter — Tracked, beside the status-report control. Multi-bill roundup for the selected window (positions, events, rollups).
- Outreach draft — stakeholder, legislator, and bill pages. Email, letter, or talking points addressed to a named recipient, grounded in change summaries with the cited quotes shown beneath the draft.
AI budget
Draft alerts and newsletters draw down the org’s interactive AI token budget (same pool as chat and onboarding assists). Structural DOCX exports from precomputed diffs and reports do not. See Plans & limits.
